Territory Studio's largest asset collection to date — concepting, designing, and animating in-screen displays and UI graphics across 11 sets and 250 shots for Marvel's Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Designs were crafted down to the micropixel, actualising an authentic vision of the Quantum Realm while remaining true to the MCU aesthetic.
The team began with Cassie Lang's lab beneath the Pym family home. Cassie has reinvented her grandfather's classic technology far beyond its origins to uncover a pathway into the Quantum Realm. Territory delivered in-screen content for 40 displays across multiple sets, overlaying the dichotomy between original tech and Cassie's otherworldly inventions — with hidden MCU Easter Eggs woven throughout.
Marvel's Art Department developed a bespoke Quantum World language called Kanglish. Territory integrated these characters into interfaces seen throughout the film, then animated the actors' gestures directly from set footage so audiences could intuit the meaning of the writing without reading it.
At the film's visual climax, Kang's central control room required interfaces that conveyed supreme power while remaining rooted in the Quantum universe. Ornate gold and blue colour palettes with 2.5D holographic forms illustrated the lavish hierarchy of Kang's military operations, designed to support gestural and intuitive interactions from the actors on set.
