Paradise

Territory Studio designed UI and screen graphics for Paradise, Netflix's dystopian thriller in which biotech corporation AEON has developed the ability to extract years from one person's life and transfer them to another. The visual language is clean, technical, and sterile — fitting a near-future world where youth is the ultimate commodity.

The central interface is a semi-holographic tablet with parallax overlays used by AEON's in-house surveillance team to track suspects and protect their base. Director Boris Kunz envisioned it with a functional, tactile feel — displaying CCTV footage, maps, and social media widgets while maintaining uncluttered elegance. The tablet and computer GUI also feature embossed and debossed application tiles, hand-animated in After Effects to match actors' gestures before compositing in Nuke.

For the car interiors, the screen graphics and digital design teams collaborated on automobile UX: full-colour tablet screens combined with windscreen-projected HUDs providing essential driving information in a futuristic manner.

News graphics and propaganda billboards were developed in AEON's brand colour palette, lending a cohesive corporate identity across all the organisation's on-screen communications.
