Invasion: Series 1

Territory Studio designed screen graphics for Invasion, Apple TV+'s global alien invasion series created by Simon Kinberg and David Weil. The studio was commissioned to create graphics for the fictional JASA (Japanese space agency) mission control room, satellite communications station, and space shuttle interior sets.

The mission control room required a cohesive design aesthetic across data dashboards, maps, video playback, countdown boards, and operational software — all grounded in real space agency references to stay true to the directors' vision. The shuttle interior features schematics and a crucial communication link to mission control, with JASA engineers running launch diagnostics.

A pivotal plot beat involves the satellite communications station detecting alien messages hidden inside distorted radio signals. Territory designed audio visualisation and signal spectrogram displays to show engineers analysing and de-noising the transmissions to extract the alien communications.

A further key story moment involves a child receiving seizure visions — represented through an MRI scan displaying unusual brain activity patterns.
